Manage List View

The “Manage List View” feature provides comprehensive control over your SQL queries allowing you to organize, customize, and share them efficiently. Here’s a brief overview of the various management options available for your List View

Your List View can be managed with the options to View, Clone, Edit, Share, Move to Folder, Add Description, and Delete.

View

To View the List View in Infoveave, follow these steps

  1. Find the specific List View that you want to view.
  2. To view the configured List View, simply click on the View icon associated with the List View.
  3. To search for a specific dimension item within the List View
    • Click on the relevant dimension text box.
    • A drop-down menu will appear, showcasing available dimension items.
    • Select the desired dimension item from the menu.
    • Click the Search button to filter the List View according to your chosen dimension item. View
  4. To download the List View, click on the Download option.
    • The List View will be downloaded as an Excel (.xlsx) file.

Clone List View

Duplicating or cloning List View in Infoveave can save you time and effort, especially when you want to create similar data table with minor variations.

  1. Locate the List View you want to clone.
  2. Click on the Clone button associated with the List View.
    • After clicking “Clone,” a prompt will appear that allows you to provide a name for the cloned List View.
  3. Enter a name for the cloned List View. Clone
  4. Click the Save button to create the cloned List View.
    • The cloned List View will now be available in My List View. You can customize the cloned assets by adjusting settings, filters, date ranges, or any other configurations to suit your needs.

Edit List View

Edit the List View to ensure that they reflect the desired modifications and meets your evolving requirements.

To modify a List View in Infoveave, follow these steps

  1. Locate the specific List View that you want to edit.
  2. Click on the Edit icon associated with the List View. Edit
  3. After making the necessary modifications, click on the Save button to save your edits.

Share List View

Sharing options in Infoveave List View such as user and role-based sharing, ensure efficient distribution and utilization of analysis among the intended audience.

You can share your Infoveave List View with other users or roles in Infoveave. Follow these steps to share your Infoveave List View

  1. Click on the Share icon to share the Infoveave List View with the team/role.
  2. Select between the available options- Share with User or Share with Role.
  3. If you choose Share with User, go to the Share with Users. From the share dialogue box, select the user(s) you want to share the Infoveave List View with.
  4. If you want to share the Infoveave List View with all users, select the Share with Everyone option.
  5. If you choose Share with Role, switch to the Share with Role. Pick the roles you want to share the Infoveave List View with from the share dialogue box.
  6. To remove a specific user or role from the shared list, uncheck the corresponding checkbox. Share
  7. Click Save to share your Infoveave List View with the selected users/roles.

Move to Folder

Organize your List View by easily moving them to designated folders.

To organize your List View under folders, follow these steps

  1. Select the List View you want to move by clicking on the Move to Folder icon.
  2. Choose the desired folder from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click the Save button to finalize the move.

Add Description

When using List View in Infoveave, you can add descriptions to provide more information. You can choose between, the Rich Text Editor or the Markdown Editor, to write and format your descriptions. This allows you to provide tags, short description, or contents about the purpose and usage of your List View.

To add a description to your List View, follow these steps

  1. Select the desired List View.
  2. Click on the Add Description option.
  3. Choose the type of editor you prefer- Rich Text Editor or Markdown Editor.
  4. Fill in the necessary information in the provided fields
    • Tags Add any relevant tags to categorize your List View.
    • Description Enter a description that provides a brief overview or explanation of the List View.
    • Content Include any additional details or notes related to the List View.
  5. Click Save to save the description.


  • Use asterisks (*) or underscores (_) to emphasize text. For example, italic or italic will appear as italicized text.
  • Use double asterisks (**) or double underscores (__) for bold text. For example, bold or bold will appear as bold text.
  • Create lists by starting each line with a dash (-) or an asterisk (*), followed by a space.
  • Add hyperlinks using square brackets [ ] and parentheses ( ) for the URL. For example, Link will create a clickable link. Other formatting options include headers, blockquotes, code snippets, and more. Refer to any Markdown syntax guides for additional details.

Delete List View

To delete a List View in Infoveave, follow these simple steps

  1. Find the List View you want to delete.
  2. Click on the Delete icon Delete.
  3. Type the specified text from the warning message in the provided text field.
  4. Alternatively, you can copy the text from the icon and paste it in the text field.
  5. Once you have entered the correct text, click on Delete.
