Manage Table Template

The Manage Template interface in Infoveave allows you to define, manage and use the structure of a dataset. With option to select the data ingestion methods, add new columns required including specifying the columns, their types, formats, attributes, and other relevant settings.

To manage the data table structure, follow the below steps

1. Identify the specific data table which you intend to preview.
2. Click on the manage template option associated with the data table to introduce new columns to the table structure. Click on the download icon associated with the data table to download the data table template.
3. Define the new data ingestion type as incremental, truncate and reload, and upload, by check boxing the appropriate type.
4. To add a new column to the data table structure, click on the Add column button located at the top right corner the modal.
5. Start by defining the column name, the type from the available options of Text, Integer, Decimal, Date or Boolean.
6. Checkbox the options, Ignore Column or Is mandatory as per requirement.
7. Click on the update button to add the new column to the table structure.

Caution

When data ingestion type is selected as update, it is mandatory to define the key column.
