What-If Analysis Information

what if The What-If Analysis section provides detailed information about the formulas used for analyzing various data scenarios and their potential outcomes. This section includes the following key elements

  1. Formula Name The specific name of the formula used in the analysis, such as FI v8, which represents a particular formula within the system.
  2. Datasource Displays the associated data source for the formula, such as Data emp, indicating where the data used in the formula is sourced from.
  3. Formula Description A brief overview of the formula’s purpose or function, helping users understand its application in the context of the analysis.

The section also includes Key-Value pairs, which provide detailed parameters for the formula

  • Key A unique identifier for each parameter used in the formula, such as a for Age.
  • Name Describes the parameter, in this case, Age, which is used in the formula.
  • Type Indicates the type of data, such as Measure, specifying that the parameter is numeric or quantifiable.
  • Value Represents the current value assigned to the parameter, such as 0 for Age.
  • Expression Provides the formula expression, which defines how the parameter is calculated or used within the analysis.

This section allows users to perform dynamic scenario analysis by adjusting key parameters and evaluating the potential outcomes, enhancing decision-making capabilities and strategic planning.
