Overview

The Infoveave Layout panel allows you to fine tune the layout of your Infoboard, catering to desktop and mobile views. Here is an in-depth guide to understand the Layout panel

1. Adjusting Canvas View

  • The Layout panel offers precise control over the canvas view to optimize your design.
    • Fit to Width Utilize this option to resize the canvas width, ensuring your design fits seamlessly within your intended display area.
    • Fit to Height Adjust the canvas height as needed to accommodate your design requirements.
    • Zoom In/Out Zoom in or out on the canvas to get a closer or wider view, allowing for detailed adjustments and an overall perspective.

2. Managing Widget Layers

  • Efficiently handle widget layers to control their stacking order and visibility.
    • Bring to Front Elevate the selected widget to the top layer, making it the most visible and accessible.
    • Bring Forward Move the widget one layer forward, ensuring it’s positioned above some but not all widgets.
    • Send to Back Place the selected widget at the bottom layer, hiding it behind other widgets.
    • Send Backward Move the widget one layer backward, adjusting its position relative to other widgets.
    • Delete Swiftly remove the selected widget from the canvas when it is no longer required.

3. Positioning and Sizing Widgets

  • Achieve pixel-perfect precision by defining the position and size of selected widgets.
    • X and Y Coordinates Specify the exact ‘X’ and ‘Y’ coordinates to determine the widget’s position within the canvas.
    • Width and Height (W and H) Tailor the widget’s dimensions by setting its width and height according to your design specifications.

4. Grouping and Alignment

  • Streamline the management and alignment of multiple widgets
    • Grouping When dealing with multiple widgets, select them on the canvas and group them together using the Group icon. This simplifies collective management and adjustments.
    • Alignment Align the grouped widgets with precision
      • Left-align, right-align, center horizontally.
      • Align to the top, middle, or bottom vertically.
      • Achieve pixel-perfect alignment for a polished and cohesive layout.
