Viewing Infoboards

This section provides you a detailed explanation of the options available while Viewing an Infoboard.

Editing

edit By clicking on the pencil icon, users are seamlessly directed to the designer view, where you have the ability to edit and customize the infoboard.

Save and preview the completed dashboard and confirm that the data and the design seamlessly align with your data storytelling goals.

  1. Click on Save to save the completed dashboard.
  2. Click on the View icon to preview the completed dashboard.

Asking AI a question

ask ai This feature of ask a question to AI is available for both AI generated Infoboards and custom created Infoboards.

Upon clicking on this option, GenAI provides a summary of Insights, data and suggestions on what are the key factors affecting the KPIs.

Posting a question to AI

You can post a question to AI based on the data present and add that visualisation to the Infoboard.

AI analyses the data based on the question asked and generates relevant visualisations. You can browse through them and select an appropriate chart to be included in your Infoboard analysed data Click on the close button to go back to the Infoboard view. close

Viewing options

  • The Fit Board option allows users to optimize the view of their infoboard for better visibility and user experience. By selecting this feature, the infoboard automatically adjusts to fit within the available screen space, ensuring that all the widgets and data visualizations are properly aligned and scaled for optimal viewing.
  • The Fit Width option allows users to adjust the layout of the infoboard to optimize the use of available horizontal space. When selected, this feature resizes the infoboard to ensure that all widgets are evenly distributed across the screen, making full use of the width of the display.
  • The Fit Height option adjusts the content of the infoboard so that its height perfectly matches the available vertical space, while preserving the aspect ratio of the widgets and visual elements.
  • The Actual Size option displays the content at its original, unscaled size, preserving the exact dimensions of the widgets and visualizations as they were designed.

Filtering

edit The filter option in the interface allows users to refine and narrow down the displayed data based on specific criteria. By using the dropdown menu, users can select various filters to focus on particular subsets of information. This feature enables more targeted analysis, helping users isolate relevant data and make informed decisions based on specific categories or parameters.

Using date range filter

Date Picker Infoboard date range filters allow you to specify the date range of your Infoboard over a period or progression. You have the flexibility to define the granularity of the date range, including options such as years, quarters, months, weeks, or days. By customizing the filters, you can effectively control the time frame displayed on your Infoboard.

The Infoboard date range filter in Infoveave enables you to adjust the displayed time period on your Infoboard.

Follow these steps to use the date range filter

  1. Click on the Insights module in the Infoveave menu.
  2. Select the Infoboard you want to apply the date range filter.Alternatively, you can use the search option to find your Infoboard.
  3. Locate the Date range filter . It is located on the top left corner of your Infoboard.
  4. Click on the Date range filter to get the list of date range options. The date range chosen will apply to all widgets on the Infoboard.
  5. Choose a date range from the available option of Year, Quarters, Months, Weeks and Days.
  6. After selecting the date range, click on Go to refresh and update the Infoboard.

To view widget information follow these steps

  1. Select the desired widget.
  2. Right click on the widget selected.

Advanced information

The Advanced Information feature provides detailed insights into the data query behind a widget. It displays the underlying SQL query used to fetch and render the data.This feature is useful for understanding how data is processed and for troubleshooting or optimizing widget performance. advanced information

  1. Right click on the selected widget.
  2. Click on Advanced information option to get the query.

Share externally

The Share Externally feature enables users to share Infoboards or widgets with external parties via a generated link. It supports multiple viewing formats (desktop, mobile, print) and allows customization with board dates and filters. Password protection can be added for security, making it ideal for collaborative analysis and reporting. share externally

  1. Click on Share externally widget information option.
  2. Select the checkboxes and click on Generate Link button to generate a link.

  2. Select the report you want to download under Reports section.
