2. SQL Query Reports
SQL query reports in Infoveave provide a powerful means to access and analyze data from various data sources through customized SQL queries. These reports empower users to retrieve specific data sets based on their unique requirements.
To create a SQL query report, navigate to StudioQueries.
All queries, created by you or shared with you will be displayed under My Query and Shared Query.
To create a new query, click on New Query.
In the SQL query editor, write and save your SQL query.
Navigate back to the StudioQueries.
Click on Show as Report on the required query to generate a report based on that query.
Go to StudioReport to view and access the generated report.
To remove an SQL query report, click again on the Show as Report or share your report from My Reports.
Note
To create an SQL query report, you must either create a new query or have an existing query.
Alert
You cannot create a report from Shared Queries.
3. Template Reports
Use the capabilities of Infoveave’s MS Office Add-ins to streamline the creation of template reports. Seamlessly access Infoveave’s functionalities directly from Microsoft Office tools to construct template-based reports on data.
To install Infoveave MS Office Add-ins, open Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Excel and click Add-ins to open the Office Add-ins window.
In the store tab, type Infoveave and click Add to install the Infoveave Add-in.
Select Insert Infoveave Widgets under Insert option. This action will open the Infoveave login form, on the right side of the screen.
In the “Infoveave Instance” field, enter your specific instance URL, such as “YourName.infoveave.net,” where “YourName” represents the client.
Enter your “Username or Email” in the corresponding field.
Enter your “Password” in the appropriate field.
Click the “Login” button to log into your Infoveave account.
After logging in, you will see the options: Insert Infoboard, and Insert Widget. Choose the option that suits your requirements.
To insert a Infoboard to your report, select the option Insert Infoboard. Use the search bar to find the Infoboard from the available list.
After selecting the Infoboard, set dimensions and date range for preview.
Select a specific Date Range for the Infoboard.
Click the Insert Image button to add the Infoboard to your report.
To insert a widget to your report, select the option Insert Widget. Use the search bar to find the widget from the available list.
After selecting the widget, set dimensions and date range for preview.
Adjust the Width of the widget.
Modify the Height of the widget.
Select a specific Date Range for the widget.
Click the Insert Image button to add the widget to your report.
Save your report with a report name for easy identification.
To add this new report to Infoveave, select StudioReports, and click New Report.
Name your Report.
Choose the desired template from the location in the file picker dialog.
Supported file extensions: .xlsx, .xlsm, .docx, and .pptx.
Click Save to save the report in Infoveave.
The new report will be visible in StudioReports.
