Infoveave allows you to view and interact with various types of media files. Follow these steps to preview and download media files:
Locate the Media file you want to clone.
Click on the View icon . This action will open a preview window displaying the media content.
To download the Media File, locate the media file URL associated with the file.
Click on the media file URL. This action will initiate the download process for the media file.
Tip
You can use the media files as a background image to your Infoboard.
4. Share Media
Sharing options such as sharing with specific users or roles provide control and flexibility in sharing the Media to the right audience, ensuring efficient utilization and leveraging of the feature.
You can share your Infoboards with other users or roles in Media. Follow these steps to share your Media:
Click on the share icon to share the Media with the team/role.
Select between the available options: Share with User or Share with Role.
If you choose Share with User, select the Share with Users option.
From the share dialogue box, select the user(s) you want to share the Media with.
If you want to share the Media with all users, select the Share with Everyone option.
If you choose to share with role, switch to the Share with Role.
Pick the roles you want to share the Media with from the share dialogue box.
To remove a specific user or role from the shared list, uncheck the corresponding checkbox.
Click Save to share your Media with the selected users/roles.
Note
Share with Everyone options give the access of the shared entity to all users along with new users.
Note
Shared individuals will receive a notification after the successful share.
To stop sharing, simply unselect the users/roles.
Tip
Share icon will be Blue in color when shared with all.
Share icon will be Green in color when shared with a few.
5. Move to Folder
Organize your Media Files by easily moving them to designated folders.
To organize your Media under folders, follow these steps:
Select the Media you want to move by clicking on the Move to Folder icon.
Choose the desired folder from the dropdown menu.
Click the Save button to finalize the move.
Tip
Alternately, you can drag and drop a Media to any folder, to add it to that specific folder.
You can also remove a Media from a folder by dragging it outside the folder.
6. Add Description
When adding a Media File in Infoveave, you can add descriptions to provide more information. You can choose between, the Rich Text Editor or the Markdown Editor, to write and format your descriptions. This allows you to provide tags, short description, or contents about the purpose and usage of your Infoboard.
To add a description to your Infoboard, follow these steps:
Select the desired Media File.
Click on the Add Description option.
Choose the type of editor you prefer: Rich Text Editor or Markdown Editor.
Fill in the necessary information in the provided fields:
Tags: Add any relevant tags to categorize your Media File.
Description: Enter a description that provides a brief overview or explanation of the Media File.
Content: Include any additional details or notes related to the Media File.
Click Save to save the description.

The Modal automatically converts text to Markdown language and vice versa, allowing more choice to the users.
Note
The Markdown Editor allows you to use simple text formatting syntax to format your description.
Use asterisks (*) or underscores (_) to emphasize text.
For example, *italic* or _italic_ will appear as italicized text.
Use double asterisks (**) or double underscores (__) for bold text.
For example, **bold** or __bold__ will appear as bold text.
Create lists by starting each line with a dash (-) or an asterisk (*), followed by a space.
Add hyperlinks using square brackets [ ] and parentheses ( ) for the URL.
For example, [Link](https://www.example.com) will create a clickable link.
Other formatting options include headers, blockquotes, code snippets, and more. Refer to any Markdown syntax guides for additional details.
7. Delete Media File
To delete a Media File in Infoveave, follow these simple steps:
Find the Media File you want to delete.
Click on the Delete icon .
Type the specified text from the warning message in the provided text field.
Alternatively, you can copy the text from the icon and paste it in the text field.
Once you have entered the correct text, click on Delete.
Alert
Please be cautious when deleting a Media File, as it cannot be recovered once deleted.
