Overview
The section provides users with comprehensive guidance and support on efficiently editing existing Infoboards, including V6 dashboards, in Infoveave. Make the necessary modifications to enhance your visualizations and saving the changes for an updated user experience. Please be aware of the specific options and limitations when editing V6 dashboards in V8.
Edit Infoboard
To edit an existing Infoboard, including V6 dashboards, in Infoveave, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Insights module:
- Click on “Insights” from the Infoveave menu to enter the Insights module.
- Locate the Infoboard to be edited:
- In the “My Workspace” or “My Organization” section, find the Infoboard you wish to edit.
- If the Infoboard is organized within folders, navigate to the appropriate folder.
- Select the Infoboard for editing.
- Click on the Edit option.
- Make necessary modifications:
- For V8 dashboards: Edit all options and features available in the editing mode.
- For V6 dashboards: Note that the available options and features may differ from V8 dashboards. Some limitations may apply such as:
- Limited options in Grid layout: The Layer panel is not available in the Grid layout.
- Widget options: In the component panel, you can only access “Widget On Board” and “All Widgets” which are the existing widgets created in the previous version of Infoveave.
- Customization options: The customization panel offers “Setup” and “Customization” options, but configuring new widgets is not possible. Under Setup, the Sources, Color Palette and Page Setup option will not be available
- Widget customization: Existing widgets on the board will have V6 widget customization options, but options like lock, hide, and group may not be available.
- Save your changes:
- After making modifications, save your changes to update the Infoboard with the Save option.
