Overview
In Infoveave, generate reports for a detailed analysis of any of your datasources. Infoveave allows you to create custom reports based on specific date periods or filters. You can circulate generated reports to any target audience within or outside your company via e-mail.
Note
In Infoveave, you have the flexibility to generate different types of reports:
- Template Reports: Create reports using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint templates.
- Query Reports: Build reports based on SQL queries to extract specific data.
- You can also download reports from Studio Reports.
Tip
- Query-based reports are accessible in PDF, and CSV formats.
- Template reports are available in only PDF format.
Download Report from Insights
To download a report from Infoveave Insights with specific date range and dimension filters, follow these steps:
- Access the Insights section in Infoveave.
- Choose the desired Infoboard or Report from the available list or use the search bar.
- Apply the date range filter:
- Select the report as either the “Start Date” or “End Date“.
- Start date: Includes data until the start date of the selected date range.
- End date: Includes data until the end date of the selected date range.
- Select the report as either the “Start Date” or “End Date“.
- Click on “+ Add Filter” to apply dimension filters on the report(if needed).

- Select the specific dimensions you want to filter(s) by.
- With the dimension selected, choose the Conditional Filter from available options.
- Choose the desired report format of PDF, or Excel(Default) using the checkbox .
- Select additional options if required:
- Split Report on Data: Choose dimensions to split the report by.
- Remove Hidden Sheets: Removes Infoveave Config Sheet before downloading/sending the report.
- Click on the “Request Report” button to download the report.
Note
- Split Report on Data
- Example: Consider your datasource has a dimension 'Country' with five different country names. If you click on Split Report on Data and select the dimension 'Country' from the drop-down list, Infoveave will download five different reports for each country.
- Remove Hidden Sheets
- When the Remove Hidden Sheets option is selected for the send report task and the download reports (file-based reports), the Infoveave Config Sheet that is contained in the hidden sheets is automatically removed before a report is downloaded/sent.
