A datasource is simply the source of the data. We classify Datasources on their content, format, and location. Infoveave manages a wide range of datasets ranging from small to large in size. Analyze the data and display them on your dashboard alias Infoboard. Infoveave can extract the data from files and get connected with tables in machine datasources such as

  • Excel files
  • TSV files (Tab Separated Value)
  • CSV files(Comma Separated Value)
  • JSON files(JavaScript Object Notation)
  • RDBMS (Relational Database Management System)
  • Cloud Storages
  • API (Application Programming Interface)
  • OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) stores

Infoveave Supported Datasource Types

Building datasources with datasets from File-Based, Cloud-Based, APIs, OLAPs, and RDBMS is offered by Infoveave.

    • File-Based Datasources: Infoveave supports creating File-Based Datasources on data in JSON, Excel, Delimited, Unstructured or Fixed file formats .
    • Datasources from Cloud Storage: You can access the data from a cloud platform via Infoveave and build a Cloud-Based Datasource in Infoveave.
    • APIs: In Infoveave, you can access the client data with custom SQL queries through APIs from social media. For more details read on, API-Based Datasources.
    • RDBMS: Infoveave supports various RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL, Percona, and many more to create RDBMS-Based Datasources.
    • OLAP:  The OLAP stores like Mondrian Cube, Microsoft SSAS and Druid are  accessible through Infoveave for creating, OLAP-Based Datasources.

When a datasource is deleted, all associated Infoboards, widgets, reports, NGuage forms, SQL queries, What-If analysis, ML analysis, jobs, tasks, alerts and thresholds based on it are also deleted.
