Functional Task
The built-in tasks that Infoveave provides its users with to automate the process of performing data-related actions are known as functional data tasks. Performing a What-If analysis forecast and setting targets and thresholds are among the functional tasks. The task can help the user automate the process of sending reports to clients on a regular basis and set up report downloads to happen automatically.
The normally used functional tasks are

How to set a functional task
- To create any functional task select Task from Automation Tasks .
- Click New to setup a new task.

- Pick the functional task you like to instate, from the drop-down list.

You may configure the task setting either as a plain text or in JSON format.
What-If Execution Task
What-If execution task is used to perform What-If analysis operation of the specific datasource mentioned in the task.
- Select what-if execution option as task.

- Enter the task name and select what-if analysis which you want to execute from their drop-down list.
- Select as view as export analysis.
- To filter out analysis based on dimensions available in the dataset, click Add Filter to configure filter. Click Delete to remove a filter.
- Click Save to create what-if execution as a task.
- After creating a task, click Execute to start executing the What-If analysis task.

- You will receive a pop-up notification once task will get finish.
- Click Edit to change the configuration of What-If execution task.

You must configure a What-If analysis for a datasource for them to appear in the drop-down list.
Target and Threshold Data Upload Task
The task as the name suggests, automate the process of uploading the data for the targets and thresholds template to existing widgets. To create the task
- Select Target and Thresholds Data upload from the drop-down list.
- Name the task.
- Select the appropriate target & threshold from the drop-down.
- Click Save to create the automation process.

Custom Task
Infoveave custom plugin task gives you an option to work with a custom task which supports programming languages such as C, C#, and others to schedule your jobs and tasks.
- To create new Tasks, click New. Select the task type from drop-down list and click Ok.
- After selecting custom plugin option as task, enter the task name and select task name from drop-down list.
- Each task contains some code that will be displayed in body area. If you want to write any custom script, you can use the body area.
After this, click Save to create custom plugin as a task.

Send Report Task
Send Report Task is used to send the report via mail. By providing the task name, report task email receipt.
- To create new Tasks, click New. Select the task type from drop-down list and click Ok.
- Select Task name and report with their datasource from drop-down list which you want to send.
- With the radio button choose the report type.
- In the dropdown Map With select either Send To Mail or Address Book option to get recipient details.
- If you have selected Send to Mail, enter recipient e-mail id in Sent To.
- If you have selected Address Book, Infoveave sends out the specified report to respective emails of the recipient(s) in Address Book.

- Select Date Dimension range to send the report for the selected dates.

- Select Start date to receive the report until Start date of selected date range.
- Select End date to receive the report until the end date of selected date range.
- Select the report file format from the drop-down on Send As.

Download Report Task
Download Report Task is used to download the report directly from email.
- To create new Tasks, click New. Select the task type from drop-down list and click Ok.
- Select Task name and report with their datasource from drop-down list which you want to send.
- With the radio button choose the report type and the report task.
- Select Individual Report to Map With Dimension from the drop-down for the selected datasource.

- Select Date Dimension range to send the report for the selected dates.
- Select Start date to receive the report until Start date of selected date range.
- Select End date to receive the report until the end date of selected date range.
