The section provides users with comprehensive guidance and support on navigating and utilizing the Infoveave Job features effectively.
This Infoveave Job layout is divided into three: the Task Panel, Job Designer, and Job Setup Panel. By understanding these components, you will be able to efficiently navigate and utilize the job-related features.
Task Panel:
- Search Option: The Task Panel includes a search option that allows you to quickly find specific tasks by entering keywords or task names in the search bar. This helps streamline the task selection process, especially when working with a large number of pre-configured tasks.
- Drag-and-Drop Feature: The Task Panel offers a convenient drag-and-drop functionality. You can simply click and drag the desired task from the Task Panel onto the Job Designer canvas. This intuitive feature simplifies the process of adding tasks to your job design, enhancing productivity.
Job Designer:
- Mini Map: The Job Designer includes a mini-map feature that provides an overview of the entire canvas. It helps you navigate and locate specific areas within your job design easily. By referring to the mini map, you can quickly identify and move to different sections of your job, facilitating efficient navigation.
- Link Tasks: In the Job Designer, you can connect tasks by linking the output of one task to the input of another. Each task will have one input and two output nodes representing success or failure outcomes. This allows you to define the logical flow and sequence of tasks within your job. By visually connecting tasks, you can create a cohesive workflow that accurately reflects your desired data processing steps.
- Lock Task Position: The Job Designer allows you to lock task positions on the canvas. This prevents accidental modifications and ensures that tasks remain in their designated locations. By locking task positions, you can maintain the integrity of your job design and avoid unintended changes during the editing process.
- Zoom-In and Zoom-Out: The Job Designer provides zoom-in and zoom-out options. Zooming in enables you to focus on specific areas of your job design, while zooming out provides an overview of the entire canvas. This flexibility helps you work with precision and maintain an optimal view of your job design.
- Delete Tasks: To remove a task from your job design, simply select the task and click on the delete icon or press the backspace key. This allows you to easily remove unwanted or unnecessary tasks from your job, refining the workflow to meet your specific requirements.
Job Setup Panel:
- Job Configuration: Within the Setup Panel, you can configure essential job settings such as the job name and description. Providing meaningful information in these fields helps you easily identify and differentiate your jobs, especially when managing multiple jobs.
- Job Scheduling: The Setup Panel allows you to specify the scheduling options for your job. You can define the frequency at which the job should run, set the start time for execution, and choose the recurrence pattern (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly) that suits your requirements. This flexibility enables you to customize the job’s scheduling parameters based on your specific needs.
