Overview

The section provides users with comprehensive guidance and support on navigating and utilizing the platform’s features effectively. 

Accessing Infoveave: Login

  1. To access your Infoveave, click the URL provided while signing-up with Infoveave.

  1. Upon successful login, you will land on the Spring board.

Spring Board

Springboards are like your personalized homepages in Infoveave that you see when you log in. They give you an overview of important job stats, quick access to your favourite dashboards, and organization-wide dashboards. Plus, they welcome you with a friendly message. Key Features of Springboards:

    • Welcome Message: Upon logging in, users are greeted with a welcome message on the Springboard. This personalized touch creates a positive user experience and sets the tone for productive data exploration and analysis.

    • Quick Job Stats: Get a snapshot of a comprehensive view of job running statistics. See stats on recently running and completed jobs, as well as the number of successes, failures, executed, and scheduled jobs.

    • Favourite Dashboards: Users can add their favourite dashboards to the Springboard for quick and easy access. This feature saves time by eliminating the need to navigate through multiple menus or search for specific dashboards.

    • Organization Dashboards: See the organization-wide dashboards. These dashboards are shared among team members, enabling collaboration, and ensuring everyone stays aligned with common goals.

Let’s take a closer look at the different sections in Infoveave navigation:

  • Infoveave Menu: The main menu displays the five Infoveave modules—Insights, Analysis, Automation, Studio, and Administration. It provides an overview of the contents.

  • Notification Panel: The notification panel gives you quick access to Infoveave Notifications, Catalogues, Help, Job Execution Status, and User Profile. It’s located within easy reach.

  • Canvas: The canvas serves as your workspace. It’s where you perform various operations based on the module you’re currently using.

  • Infoboard Filters: Within the canvas, you can utilize Infoboard filters to refine the displayed data and focus on specific aspects of your analysis.

  • Date Filters: The date filters allow you to narrow down data based on specific time ranges, helping you analyze trends and patterns over different periods.

  • Report a Bug or Request Feature: This feature allows you to report bugs, request new features, or ask questions. It helps you seek support and provide feedback.

Understanding these sections in the Infoveave navigation helps you navigate and utilize the platform effectively.

Infoveave Menu

The Infoveave menu has modules like Insights, Analysis, Automation, Studio, and Administration, each serving different purposes. You can explore data, do advanced analysis, automate tasks, create dashboards, and manage system settings. The menu is easy to navigate and helps you work with data effectively.

Insights

To navigate Insights, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the ‘Insights’ module in the Infoveave menu.
  2. You can see the sections ‘My Organization’ and ‘My Workspace’ within the Insights module.
  3. Select the desired section and folder to proceed.
  4. Inside the folder you can locate your ‘Infoboards’, ‘Reports’ and ‘List’ option.
  5. To create a new Infoboard, click on “Create Infoboard”.
  6. Use the search bar to search for any ‘Infoboard’, ‘Report’ or ‘List’

To navigate Analysis, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the ‘Analysis’ module in the Infoveave menu.
  2. You can find the below sections within the module.

Infoboard Filter

To navigate the dashboard filter in Infoveave, follow these steps:
  1. Open the desired dashboard.
  2. Locate the filter on the dashboard interface.
  3. Expand a specific datasource to see its related dimensions.
  4. Select one or more dimensions to apply filters.
  5. Deselect dimensions to remove the filters. You can also remove the whole filter with the delete button.
  6. Explore different combinations of filters to analyze the data.
  7. Observe the dashboard visuals and data update in real-time, as you interact with the filters.
Using the dashboard filter in Infoveave allows you to actively refine the displayed data, focus on specific Datasources, and analyze information through different dimensions for valuable insights.

The notification panel in Infoveave provides easy access to important information and updates. You are alerted about successes and failures in Infoveave via the notification symbol. Here’s how you can navigate to the notifications:
  1. To view your notification, click on the Notification Icon .
  2. To view the notification details click on View.
  3. To delete the notification, click on Delete  .

  5. If a notification includes a report that you want to download, click on ‘Download’ to retrieve the file.

You are alerted about successes and failures in Infoveave via the notification symbol. The notification icon lists all completed tasks successes and failures. From here, you can examine the error information on the unsuccessful jobs and manually remove the older messages. Here’s how you can navigate to the notifications:

  1. To view your notification, click on the Notification Icon .
  2. To view the notification details click on View.
  3. To delete the notification, click on Delete .

Notifications
    • Blue: Blue notifications offer a general update or information that is not urgent or crucial. They distribute notices or announcements that aren’t urgent but that users should be aware of.
    • Red: Red alerts indicate information that is critical or error related. They point to something that needs to be fixed right away, like an error or a problem.
    • Green: Green alerts show that operations were successful or finished. They provide encouraging feedback and verify that a task or action has been carried out successfully.
    • Amber: Amber notifications draw attention to alerts or warnings. They serve as a warning of things to be aware of or to be cautious of.

By clicking on ‘Show Help’ you can view the help documentation related to the section you are on. You can also access the help documentation on other sections from here.

  1. To access the help for any module you are on click on Show Help .
  2. To view the related articles on the module click on the icon.

Catalogues

Catalogues get you an easy access to the list of all Infoboards, jobs, reports, and NGuage forms that you have in Infoveave.

  1. Click on Catalogues .
  2. Select any option from the drop-down list.

  1. Select the Infoboard or use the search bar to pick out any specific Infoboard.
    • Click on the icon to Navigate directly to the selected Infoboard.
    • For the description on the Infoboard click on icon.
    • To open your Infoboard in new window click on the icon.
  1. To download the list of all Infoboards with details on the Entity-Id, Name, Description, Content, Tags, and Folder, click on Export. 
  1. To update the, Description, Content, and Tags, click on Import.
    • Upload a CSV with the all the details added in the specific format given below.

Job Execution Status

The Job Execution Status provides an overview and updates on the status of executed jobs, including successes, failures, scheduled jobs, and current jobs.

To access the Job Execution Status:

  1. Click on the Job Execution Status tab.

The Job Execution Status includes the following sections:

  • Success: Lists successfully executed jobs in ascending order, showing the job name, start date, end date, execution time, and details of the creator and initiator.
  • Failure: Lists failed jobs along with failure reasons, step failed, job start date, and task name.
  • Executing: Displays the current job status, showing the job name, start date, and details of the creator and initiator.

You can apply filters to sort the jobs based on the job name and scheduled time

Profile

The Profile section provides you with the following options:

  • View Profile: Allows you to view your profile details.
  • Edit Profile: Enables you to make changes to your profile information.
  • Reset Password: Allows you to reset your password if needed.
  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication: Provides the option to enable two-factor authentication for enhanced security.
  • View Infoveave Version History: Allows you to access the version history of Infoveave.
  • Logout: Logs you out from your Infoveave account.
Edit Profile

To edit your profile and manage notifications:

  1. Click on ‘Edit Profile’ to make changes.
  2. A new edit window will open for you to modify your profile details.
  3. The whole section is divided to ‘User Profile’, ‘User Devices’ and ‘Notification Preferences’.

  1. Click on the respective fields to change the ‘First Name’ and ‘Last Name’.
  2. Choose your preferred language from respective drop-down option.
    • You can choose from English, French, Arabic, Chinese, Kannada and Hindi.

To upload your user picture, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your profile settings and the edit profile section.
  2. Click on the ‘Edit Profile Picture’.

  1. Select the image file from your computer or device.
  2. Adjust or crop the image if necessary.
  3. Click on the ‘Save’ button to save your changes.
  4. Verify that your user picture has been successfully uploaded by checking your profile or avatar display.
Change Password

To change your password, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the ‘Change Password’ .
  2. Enter your current or old password in the ‘Old Password’ field.
  3. Enter your desired new password in the ‘New Password’ field.
  4. Confirm your new password by entering it again in the ‘Confirm Password’ field.
  5. Click on the “Save” or “Update” button to save your new password.
  6. Once the change is successful, you will receive a notification message.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication
To enable two-factor authentication, follow these steps:
  1. Install an authenticator app on your device, such as TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password) or LastPass.
  2. Open the authenticator app and choose the option to add a new account or scan a QR code.
  3. In the Infoveave Profile settings, look for the option to enable two-factor authentication.
  4. Click on the ‘Enable Two-Factor Authentication’ icon .
    • You will see a QR code or a secret key provided by Infoveave.

  1. Open the authenticator app and scan the QR code or manually enter the provided secret key.
  2. The authenticator app will generate a unique one-time password (OTP) associated with your Infoveave account.
  3. Enter the generated OTP in the ‘Enter the OTP’ field in the Infoveave settings.
  4. Click on the ‘Validate’ button to activate two-factor authentication.
  5. Once enabled, you will receive the success notification .
My Notification Preferences

To manage your notification preferences in Infoveave, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the “My Notification Preferences” section in your profile settings.

  2. Under the “Notify On” field, select the events or actions that you want to receive notifications for. These are :

    • Entities are shared with me
    • Infoboard is shared
    • Report is shared
    • Datasource is uploaded
    • Job scheduled by me starts or ends
    • Target and Threshold condition is met
    • An alert setup by me is triggered
    • I am mentioned in an annotation

  3. In the “Notify When” field, choose when you want to be notified for the selected events.

  4. If you want to receive notifications on your mobile device, make sure the “Mobile App” option is enabled. 

  5. Similarly, if you want to receive notifications via email, enable the “Email” option. Make sure your email address is correctly set up in your account settings.

  6. If you use NGauge forms, you can enable the “NGauge” option to receive notifications related to NGauge forms.

  7. Once you have selected your notification preferences, click on the “Save” or “Update” button to save your changes.

By configuring your notification preferences, you can ensure that you receive timely updates and alerts for the events and actions that are important to you in Infoveave.

Report Bug

To report a bug in Infoveave, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the “Report A Bug” option.
  2. Fill in the required fields:
    • Select the appropriate bug report type.
    • Provide a detailed description of the bug.
    • Optionally attach relevant files.
  3. Click on the “Send Request” button to send your bug report.
  4. The Infoveave support team will receive and analyze your bug report.
  5. If you have any questions or suggestions, you can use the “Ask A Question” or “Suggest A New Feature” options.

Your report helps improve the Infoveave platform and enhance the user experience.
