# Shopify

Shopify connection helps Infoveave connect securely to your Shopify store and access store data such as orders, products, customers, and inventory for analytics and reporting.

## Adding a Shopify Connection

To create a new Shopify connection:

1. Go to **Administration** > **Connections**
2. Click **New Connection** and select **Shopify** from the list of available connectors
3. In the **New Shopify Connection** form, provide the store details

## Connection Parameters

When setting up a Shopify connection, you need to provide the following details:

| Field | Description |
|-------|-------------|
| **Name** | A unique name to identify your Shopify connection |
| **Store URL** | The Shopify store domain (e.g., `yourstore.myshopify.com`) |

After entering the Store URL, click **Connect to Shopify**. This will redirect you to Shopify’s authorization screen to approve Infoveave’s access permissions.

## Steps to Validate and Save

1. Click **Connect to Shopify** and complete the authorization  
2. Return to Infoveave to continue the setup  
3. Click **Validate** to confirm the connection  
4. If validation succeeds, click **Save** to store the connection

## Example Use Cases

Once connected, you can:

- Retrieve order, product, and customer data from your Shopify store  
- Analyze sales, revenue, and customer trends  
- Build eCommerce dashboards with real-time metrics  
- Combine Shopify data with other Datasources for unified reporting  
- Automate workflows for order fulfillment, sales alerts, or inventory updates
